Enjoyed my time at this hotel with a really friendly staff, and the warm cookie at arrival was a nice touch! The room was cozy and clean, though it could use some updates. The moldy coffee maker was concerning, and the pressure in the shower could improve.

The stay was mainly for the convenience of being close to a family wedding. Although there were some hiccups, like the room not being ready upon arrival and not having the advertised pullout couch, the atmosphere managed to remain positive thanks to the helpful staff. I'd say the cleanliness of the hotel was spot on, but a few more renovations might be in order to truly meet expectations for higher-end accommodations.

Staying here made it easy for me to access the beautiful mid-lothian mines park, just a quick drive away, and enjoy a delicious dinner at several close restaurants like casa grande which was only half a kilometer away. while the room was comfortable, i did notice some cleanliness issues, particularly in the bathroom.
